So our 6th year of working at the Green Man Festival recently came and went. As always it was a hard, long, but very enjoyable week… we arrived sunday and worked through till the following monday on various projects including our 130ft Graffiti wall, The Solar Stage, the Peaceful Progress graff cafe and a million other little things and jobs.
Really love working on this festival, well organised, great crew and 3 square meals a day in the crew canteen which eventually becomes the only thing holding it all together!
Here’s a little montage of the evolution of our wall over the years. For more pics of this years wall click here
Best and Rarebit on a recent trip to Birmingham to paint at The Aerosol Planet Planet Jam in the Tamworth hall of fame. We had about 2 hours kip on the mighty Kem’s floor and got up at 5am to start for 7am start. To top it all off we then headed to Doncaster at about 2pm for the Tattoo Jam convention and more late nights of fun and pain.
Thanks Bert and Steam and co. from Aerosol Planet for the invite and hospitality and thanks to Kem for the floor and innapropriate late night conversations.
Great weekend as always, thanks to the ROXE Foundation for putting on such a good jam… I joined my fellow SINSTARS crew in painting our 20th anniversary wall there… a few heads missing due to different circumstances but still a cracking day. Pics in the walls section. Click here
Work in progress @ the Artisan Brewery in Cardiff, the finest organic wheat beer is brewed in these bad boys… amazing I got this far..
Just a bit of smoke to add and she’s done.
The PP van was well overdue a new coat… Lovely week to be painting, weather was HOT. Karm came down one day to drop some fresh letters on the other side, rest of the week was spent on details and on this piece. Looking forward to starting tour around the country in this badboy, 1st stop Kent @ Lounge on the Farm festival. We’ll be painting the sheep dip stage and running the late night Reggae sounds in the Peaceful Progress tent. come find us…
Bit of an experiment leading up to a bigger piece, got rained on during this so went for the simple option with the Gold fill.. more coming soon!
